About Bill
An independant Leather Craftsman based in Somerset, England. Beautiful, hand made goods are crafted by Bill who has over 40 years of experience in working with leather, starting at just age 14. His passion took him to Cordwainers College, London, studying leathergoods design, manufacture and saddlery. Since his time at college he has worked under many guises within the leathergoods industry including as a designer, pattern cutter and sample maker.
He now continues his love of leather making bespoke goods and teaching his craft to others.
Bespoke Work
Bill can make bespoke items from handbags to belts to card cases, encompassing the traditional to the quirky. All are handmade throughout using traditional methods and materials, and hand stitched. Due to the bespoke nature and the handcrafting of each bag, a large amount of time is invested in every creation, this can sometimes be months. This time is well spent from the initial selection of the best parts of the hide for each part of your bag, to the last loving polish on the finished article. Bill's experience means each creation will last a life time.

Bill was comissioned to make a case for an the Olympic torch in 2012 which can be seen in the slide show below.
He has also been featured in multiple television shows including channel 4's "Craft: I made this" and Countryfile.
